I've been trying to bond with my camera again and I think I'm starting to feel the love.
Speaking of love, I love daisies. Love.
We've done quite a bit of beachy dog walking lately. Penny loves a walk, but what she really likes is to roll in the seaweed. Eww.
After dropping Katie at camp, Aidan and I went to Russell's farm market and bought a gorgeous flat of raspberries. We made a batch of raspberry jelly. We also made a batch of blueberry jam. Epic, epic fail. Anybody like blueberry pancake syrup? Cause I got some.
Katie went to Camp Qwanoes last week. She had the best time ever. I was so impressed with the way that all 320 kids are welcomed. It was fun to watch the 6 buses arriving from the ferry - they were greeted with fireworks and fanfare.
It was an anxious week for us - we didn't hear from Katie until Tuesday - when the camp doctor called to tell us she had been hit in the face with a spinning carousel. Apparently it didn't slow her down, but I was glad to pick her up on Friday.
She had a great time! Made lots of friends, tried new things, and was so pleased with her first week at camp.
She looked happy, healthy and fit.
Except for this...
More random flowers...petals on my mom's deck.
Saw a couple of random vintage vehicles on the way to camp - fun to play around with Photoshop.
